The hosted experience

Julian Alps and three countries

Experience the changing character of Austria, Italy and Slovenia, with Julian Alps scenery and memorable mountain crossings. A day that brings the variety of the Alps together while keeping a welcoming base to come home to.

Chris brings the road knowledge and daily briefing; Chris and Pip help you choose a day that suits your riding and holiday preferences. Your confirmed departure programme sets out the arrangements.

For the rider

What the day asks of you.

  • Several mountain crossings make this a more concentrated riding day. Talk to Chris about your experience on tighter bends and your preferred pace.
  • The selected route and any optional extension depend on conditions and the departure programme.
For rider & pillion

Time to enjoy it together.

  • Changing landscapes are a highlight; discuss the total day and the off-bike pauses together before choosing.
  • Chris and Pip can talk through the planned breaks and alternatives if you would prefer a quieter base day.

We plan time for lunch, photographs and pauses, with the day’s stops confirmed in the briefing and adapted to conditions.
